Everything went according to plan when sixth rankedWonju DB (16-16) beat at home 8th ranked Samsung Thunders (11-20) 99-92 . Wonju DB players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) who scored that evening 32 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and the former international swingman Kwang-Jae Lee (188-1984) supported him with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Alvano is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 21 points and 7 rebounds by Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) did not help to save the game for Seoul Thunders . Naturalized American guard Justin Gutang (191-1997, college: Skyline JC) added 15 points and 9 assists for lost side. Four Wonju DB and five Seoul Thunders players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains sixth position with 16-16 record. Seoul Thunders lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 20 games lost.
